SV High School Science Building
The Project transformed the Sierra Vista HS Campus by virtually replacing every portable classroom added to it over the last 15 years. The new building covers more than 63,000 square feet and houses 37 classrooms, including state-of-the- art Science and Computer Laboratories that supports Career Technical Education in Architecture, Engineering & Construction Management. It is a major component of the long-term District-wide Campus Redevelopment Program, which involves new construction and modernization of facilities.
After starting construction in July 2010 and after over 8 years in the planning, design and funding process, the Project is the new anchor structure of the Sierra Vista High School complex, and gives an iconic presence as the newest and one of the biggest landmarks in the City of Baldwin Park and its vicinity.
